Fixed Appliances

3D Lingual Arch

The 3D lingual Arch is a removable adjustable lingual archwire. It is designed to increase the Anterior-Posterior arch length, for lateral expansion, and for distal molar movement.

Bluegrass thumb sucking appliance

Uses a Teflon roller bead to interfere with thumb activity and break the suction seal. This bead spins on a heavy wirework frame to remind patient of proper tongue position, and correct the habit.

Bonded Hyrax RME

This bonded Hyrax has an RME expansion screw and a wire-reinforced acrylic splint for upper expansion. Cemented to the posterior teeth, this appliance expands the upper arch while controlling vertical increase.

Lower E-Arch

This fixed spring-loaded expander provides slow continuous forces. It is comprised of a lingual arch that utilizes a rod and tube, coil spring expansion. Self-activation makes this a good choice when patient compliance is an issue.

Distal Jet

A Distal Jet is a fixed lingual appliance that is used to move upper molars distally. The Class II correction and space regaining treatment uses palatal acrylic and a solid track wire with two sets of adjustable locking screws on each side.

Hybrid RME

This Fixed Expansion device utilizes acrylic pads for additional lingual support of posterior teeth during arch development.

An acrylic palatal button joined by a lingual wire attached to molar bands is designed to prevent the mesial drift of posterior teeth.

Lower Williams Expander

This fixed expansion device includes a Nickel Titanium wire that rounds out the lower anteriors as the screw expands. A popular choice for lower arch development.

The “Mandibular Anterior Repositioning Appliance” advances the lower jaw to encourage forward growth. This fixed appliance uses 1st molar stainless steel crowns with an elbow and loop advancement mechanism.

Tandem Traction Bow

This fixed Class III correction appliance acts to widen the maxillary arch while retracting the mandible. The appliance design uses an upper RPE screw and elastics with the traction bow to restrict mandibular growth.

This active appliance expands the upper arch and distalizes molars. It consists of bands on premolars and molars with a palatal acrylic button and TMA springs for distalization.

This Appliance acts to retain minor class II correction as well as provide an anterior bite plane to encourage the eruption of posterior teeth.

Upper ALF

The Advanced Lightwire Functional (A.L.F) appliance offers various designs to deliver light, and continuous forces to the dentition over time.

Thumb Sucking Appliance

This appliance utilizes palatal prongs designed to cause discomfort and break the suction. The vertical crib is welded to molar bands to interfere with digit sucking and break the habit.

Transforce Palatal Expander

This fixed/removable option utilizes enclosed nitanium coil string for light, continuous forces.

Quad Helix

The Quad Helix provides multiple adjustment points for controlled development of the upper arch. It is custom bent to match the vault of the palate as feasible, making it a less bulky alternative for arch development.

V-loop Bonded Retainer

The V-Loop retainer is bonded to the anteriors to precisely retain the orthodontic positions of upper or lower dentition. This light wire is shaped and fit to the lingual of all anterior teeth and bonded with the help of placement stents.

Unilateral Space Maintainer

A U-shaped loop is welded to an orthodontic band to maintain posterior tooth positions and allow for eruption of permanent teeth.

Bonded Haas RME

A fixed Bonded RME appliance designed for maximum skeletal and dental expansion. The full palatal acrylic coverage applies strong developmental forces to the palatal alveolar ridges.

Tongue Thrust Appliance

A wire crib prevents the patient from pushing and thrusting on anterior teeth with the tongue. The metal framework, attached to first molar bands, distracts tongue function and acts as a deterrent.

Bilateral Space Maintainer

This lingual arch is designed to maintain arch length and keep space. The carefully adapted arch wire extends bilaterally and is welded to bands on the E’s or 1st molars.

Banded Hyrax RME

The Banded Hyrax RME achieves rapid expansion and separation of palatal sutures. A heavy expansion screw welded to bands, usually on the first bicuspids and first molars, is frequently activated to widen the maxilla.

Bonded Lingual Retainer

A Bonded Lingual retainer holds and retains the lingual of the anterior teeth. The closely adapted lingual wire is welded to mesh pads and bonded to cingulum of the canines.

Banded Haas RME

The Banded Haas RME appliance provides excellent orthopedic expansion of the maxillary arch. The partial acrylic palatal coverage applies increased force to the skeletal base, minimizing dental tipping.
