Removable Appliances

Twin Block

Designed to develop the arches and treat Class II malocclusions, it consists of upper and lower removable appliances with interlocking posterior bite blocks to posture the lower jaw forward and open the bite

Bionator

The Bionator is used to correct Class II malocclusions by advancing the mandible and opening the bite. An acrylic anterior cap and posterior acrylic stops act to reposition the lower jaw.

Frankel Appliance

A removable orthodontic appliance designed to achieve total facial balance in the growing patient. Its acrylic shields obstruct abnormal function and allow for the establishment of harmonious functional patterns.

Bioblock Appliance

A Bioblock is used to expand the upper arch and posture the lower jaw forward. This appliance utilizes 1 expansion screw, cross-over wires, and 30 degree posterior inclined planes to develop the lower arch.

Fan Expander

This appliance is designed to treat a v-shaped dental arch by rounding out the anterior dentition. It consists of a hinge and a pivoting expansion screw for sectional widening of the maxillary arch.

ClearBow Retainer

The ClearBow is an aesthetic component used in the fabrication of retainers and other types of orthodontic appliances. It is comprised of a clear plastic strap that provides superior esthetics and optimum tooth contact for improved retention.

Hawley Retainer Lower

The lower retainer holds the teeth to their corrected orthodontic positions. An active labial bow may also act to achieve minor tooth movements and refinements.

Orthopedic Corrector

Treats Class II cases and allows for gradual advancement of the mandible. The 2 side screws are activated for additional mandibular repositioning and accelerated growth.

Split Plate Upper

Designed to widen the maxillary dental arch, midline expansion screws are activated to increase arch width, and relieve crowding and posterior crossbites.

Sagittal Appliance
Upper

The Sagittal is utilized to achieve anterior development and/or distalization of the posterior segments. Bilateral expansion screws are activated to expand in an anterior/posterior direction. These appliances can be made for upper or lower arches.

Sagittal Appliance Lower

The Sagittal is utilized to achieve anterior development and/or distalization of the posterior segments. Bilateral expansion screws are activated to expand in an anterior/posterior direction. These appliances can be made for upper or lower arches.

Sagittal Appliance Upper

This upper expander is used for posterior space regaining when arch length is lost due to premature loss of dentition. A single unilateral expansion screw applies forces to move teeth distally.

Schwarz Appliance Lower

This expansion appliance widens the mandibular arch and provides arch development/uprighting in the lower arch. The single expansion screw and cross-over wires act to expand dentition and align anterior teeth.

Anterior Spring Retainer

This appliance is used to align the maxillary or mandibular anterior teeth without fixed braces. The anterior teeth are reset and the Spring Retainer is constructed on the treatment set-up.

Upper Expander

Designed to widen the maxillary dental arch, midline screw is activated to increase arch width, and relieve crowding and posterior crossbites.

Wrap Around Retainer

The fully adapted labial archwire incorporates 2 adjustment loops and extends to the second molars. This appliance is excellent for retaining orthodontic cases and preventing relapse.

Wrap Around Retainer
(Acrylic Bow)

The fully adapted labial archwire incorporates 2 adjustment loops and extends to the second molars. This appliance is excellent for retaining orthodontic cases and preventing relapse.

Spring Retainer Upper

The upper Spring Retainer is designed to correct minor rotations of anterior teeth. This removable, self-activating appliance also utilizes a treatment set-up for anterior alignment.

BowBeer Expander

This expansion appliance widens the mandibular arch and provides arch development/uprighting in the lower arch.

Crossbite Spring

This crossbite appliance acts to move teeth labially out of crossbite. The removable appliance design uses posterior bite blocks and finger springs to apply pressure for labial movement over crossbite.

3D Screw Expansion

Offers 3-way expansion of the maxillary dental arch. The screw mechanism both widens posteriors and proclines anteriors for Y-shaped arch development.

Nord Expansion Appliance Unilateral

Offers controlled Unilateral expansion of the palate and teeth. A single transverse expansion screw and an acrylic anchorage flange act to apply localized forces for unilateral correction. (Unilateral capitalized on purpose)

Essix Retainer

Clear retainers are placed to hold the treated orthodontic results from relapse. The thin, clear Essix material is pressure-formed over the dentition to esthetically retain teeth without  wires.

Crossbite Screw

The removable acrylic appliance applies forces to rotate and move anterior teeth forward over the bite. An expansion screw with posterior occlusal acrylic is activated to labialize teeth and jump crossbite.

Schwarz Appliance
Upper

This expansion appliance widens the maxillary arch and provides arch development/uprighting in the lower arch. The single expansion screw and cross-over wires act to expand dentition and align anterior teeth.

Twin Block Phase ll

This support appliance acts to retain the class II Twin Block correction. An upper hawley design with an anterior incline retains the mandible forward and allows for continued posterior eruption.

Hawley Retainer Upper

A Hawley appliance is used to retain teeth in their new position following orthodontic treatment. The archwire is used for preventative, interceptive, and limited corrective orthodontics.

Transverse Lower

The lower Transverse appliance is used for lateral development of the mandibular dental arch. A single midline screw acts to upright posterior segments and widen the mandibular arch.

3 Screw Combination

The Combination appliance provides lateral and sagittal arch development to relieve crowding. This 3 screw appliance can be made with or without occlusal acrylic, and combines 1 transverse and 2 sagittal expanders.
